TESTIMONIALS

  • I would like to thank Richard and his team for a fantastic job laying Amtico tiles with a border in my Kitchen. Great care was taken with the fitting. I would thoroughly recommend Abacus, a local family business who i have known for 20 years.
  • Even though my purchase was of small monetary value I was treated as though I was spending a fortune and not a time waster. It is heart-warming.
  • What a selection of carpets! Fortunately for me sound advice steered me into making the right decision. I found the right carpet for me.
  • Thank you Abacus, I chose my carpet from your roll stock for quickness and my new tenants moved in on schedule. Even I did not think that could happen. Well done.
  • What a laugh!! My new carpet is made from recycled plastic bottles. And it's soft, I'm well impressed!!
  • Our new custom made rug is for us, better than a ready made one. We selected an off-cut (terrific quality). Abacus sent it away to have the edges bound, an absolutely brilliant result.
  • I am over the moon with my new wood floor. Borrowing large samples really helped me to choose the right colour. Thank You.
  • I found a remnant at Abacus. Perfect colour- perfect size- perfect price- perfect guest bedroom.
  • I am truly delighted to have found Abacus. I did not think that shops such as these existed anymore. My carpets have been fitted to perfection. I am recommending them to all my friends.
  • My new Amtico floor looks absolutely stunning. These are the guys to go to for the best advice and service.
  • Dear Dan Just to say that we were very pleased with the carpet laying process. It was quite an upheaval as you can imagine but your team were helpful, cheerful and extremely good. We couldn’t fault them.
  • More than two years on, I am still delighted with the flooring Abacus fitted for me. I wanted a hard floor, couldn’t afford real wood, but wanted to avoid using an oil based synthetic product. I was thrilled when Dan showed me the Vorwerk, plant based range as it looked great yet satisfied my ethical concerns. The fitting service was excellent - Abacus were very understanding about timing the fitting around other plumbing and decorating work, the fitters were hard working, good natured people to be around and the finished flooring looks fantastic. Some months after the fitting, we had plumbing leaks in two different rooms (aagh!) Abacus could not have been more understanding and helpful around lifting parts of the floor while the leaks were traced and repaired, and then replaced the tiles and left the floors looking as good as new again. I thoroughly recommend Abacus as a company and Vorwerk as an ethically sound, excellent quality product.
  • This is my 2nd occasions working together with your firm. I must say you and your colleagues are so professional. I feel so relaxed with the whole progress.
  • Thank-you Abacus. The carpets are brilliant, the guys installing our job were fantastic. It's a perfect job so thank-you so much! Kind Regards TFB
